Alana is a qualified nutritionist that believes we all deserve to live with health, happiness and meaning. Alana adopts a holistic and personalised approach to helping clients by exploring their nutrition, emotional state, biochemical functioning and lifestyle. She investigates health and wellbeing recognising the body as a whole system that is connected.
Alana is always interested in asking ‘why’ to help clients understand the underlying causes that are contributing to their health concerns. Once this is established Alana works with her clients to develop actionable and evidence-based dietary and lifestyle recommendations to suit her clients' health goals. Alana says ‘It is more about adopting diet and lifestyle habits that promote long-term health and wellbeing, rather than suppressing and managing symptoms'.
Alana’s approach is genuine, warm and patient centred. She likes to take the time to understand what it is like to walk in her client’s shoes.
Alana is fascinated by the relationship between our gut and brain and loves sharing the profound results that simple diet and lifestyle changes can have on mood, attention and cognition. She has a special interest in supporting healthy mood, energy and mental health (depression, anxiety, impaired sleep, stress) through optimising gut health, nutrition and lifestyle practices; ultimately how you can feed your happiness.
