This class will being to introduce more challenging postures and sequencing to develop a yoga practice to calm minds and strengthen bodies. The class will involve meditation, discovering alignment and sequencing in yoga and will also involve partner poses and group games to develop trust, kindness, and a sense of community. The class will move from fun into stillness; providing a safe environment to explore meditation and various yoga philosophies and topics of the day; encouraging an inward journey through breathwork, guided meditation and longer meditations. The class will work on building self-confidence and self-awareness. This is a great class to learn skills to help deal with stressful situations - it is the perfect outlet for unwinding after a busy day of school.
