A traditional yin class can often be quite clunky and complicated.
The concept is simple: safely get into a pose, relax and remain still. But often getting into, holding, and then remaining still involves a lot of adjusting and fixing.
In this workshop we’ll start with a preset sequence of poses and we’ll take about a half an hour to go through the process of figuring out how best to get into and out of each pose. At the end of the half hour we’ll begin the real practice. Kye will set a timer and then simply call out the poses. You already know what to do and have the props you need at the ready. Your instructor will still be there to help with details along the way, but essentially it will be a smooth flowing practice from pose, to rebound to pose in a sequence that will allow the mind and body to reach the next level of stillness and quiet.
Bookings essential. Beginners welcome.
