Katie's introduction to yoga and meditation began in 1997 while living in London and was used as a tool to help her work through eating disorders and body image issues. That began a relationship that would deepen over the years.
After studying a range of yoga traditions in India, Nepal, Australia and Bali, Katie escaped the corporate world and embarked on a new shift by moving to the beautiful island of Koh Phangan in Thailand to share her gifts and talents as a full time yoga teacher, while running yoga retreats in other exotic places. Her mixture of styles including Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, and Restorative Yoga has brought both a local and overseas following.
Katie has recently returned to Australia with the commitment to inspire others to find their true potential by shifting their own life experiences and by living a fulfilling life through a healthy body and mind. No class is the same and her teachings weave together storytelling, meditation, body/mind exploration, breath work and a healthy dose of humour.
