Our Difference
What sets Sofia’s Wellness apart

  • Individualised - We believe one size does not fit all. We work with each client to personalise individual treatment plans.

  • Health Fund Rebates - All Health Funds accepted. Please note that at this stage we do not have HICSPS however clients can claim through their Health Fund.

  • Sensory Journey - Let your senses guide as you choose one of our 3 pure essential oil blends. We have a Relaxation, a Detox and a Sport’s blend.

  • Wellness Packs - Multiple treatments are available as Wellness packs. You may wish to customise a treatment plan comprising remedial massage, life coaching and meditation.

Remedial Massage Techniques

  • Sports Massage - Sport massage is tailored around the client’s present training program to help athletes in both their preparation and their recovery phases of training and events.

  • Relaxation Massage - When in need of a total mind and body reset, a relaxation massage helps to sooth and relieve muscular tension, while promoting the relaxation response. It is a smooth, gentle style massage.

  • Deep Tissue Massage - Deep tissue uses more pressure than a Swedish massage. Deep tissue massage targets problem areas and surrounding muscles. It’s a good option if you have chronic muscular concerns such as soreness, tightness, injury, or imbalance.

  • Trigger Point Massage - Direct pressure is applied to specific points, targeting location and referral patterns of pain.
Stretching - Strengthening and stretching exercises are used to increase flexibility, range of motion and blood flow to the muscles. Recommendations are given as part of your home care.

  • Myofascial Release - Focus on reducing pain with attention to easing the tension and tightness of trigger points. It is used over a broad area of muscle and tissue rather than single points.
