Movement & Meditation for Pain and Healing

  • Inna Bliss Yoga Camp Hill 4 Newman Avenue Camp Hill, QLD, 4152 Australia (map)

Most of us experience pain at some point in our lives. Be it acute or chronic, the experience of pain can have many impacts on different levels – from affecting our sleep and productivity to our mood and capacity to feel pleasure and joy. It can make it harder for us to take care of ourselves and to feel hopeful.

All of these things are biological and psychological impacts of pain, and you are not alone if you are experiencing them. The good news is that we now know a lot more about the science of pain and there are increasing numbers of evidence-based practices that we can bring to help us not only manage or relieve our pain, but to initiative real healing.

This workshop offers fascinating and helpful insights from the fields of the neurobiology and psychology, along with a combination of evidence-based mind-body tools and practices, founded in an approach which is practical, adaptable, compassion-focussed, and trauma-informed.
“We still have so much to learn about pain, but what we are starting to realize is how important the role our brain and nervous system are in persistent pain. If you have ever been curious to learn more, then this workshop provides such a helpful way to gather more useful, life-affirming skills that are easy to implement in our daily busy lives. You know you are in good hands with both Alisons at the helm!” Barbara Bugeja, Osteopath
